Alex Jospé, MA

Associate Educational Therapist

Alex Jospé is a dedicated educator and lifelong learner who is committed to helping each student build on their unique strengths to achieve their academic goals.

He finds great meaning in working with a diverse range of learners, including students with ADHD, ASD, visual and auditory processing differences, executive functioning challenges, learning disabilities in written expression and reading, as well as those managing anxiety and depression. Alex’s deep passion lies in supporting students in the Humanities and fostering their critical thinking and executive functioning skills.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of San Francisco. Additionally, he earned a Certificate for Advanced Study in Educational Therapy from California State University, Northridge, and is a certified Educational Therapist with an Associate Level membership in the Association of Educational Therapists. Alex has over twenty years of experience working extensively in student support services and leading professional development for teachers. Most recently, he focused on supporting neurodivergent students as the middle and high school learning specialist at a K–12 school in Pasadena. He has also served as a writing coach, advisor, and English teacher in both higher education and independent schools throughout California.

Beyond his professional life as an educator, Alex enjoys playing tennis with his spouse, hiking with his golden retriever, and cheering on his daughters on the soccer pitch.
