Euodia Choi, MA, AMFT

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist

Euodia Choi is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who supports children and their families in navigating life’s emotional and relational challenges. She specializes in helping children manage difficult emotions, attention challenges, and the effects of trauma, while guiding parents in building attuned, responsive relationships. She sees behavior as a window into a child’s inner world, viewing emotional outbursts or struggles as opportunities to connect, understand, and guide children with care.

Before becoming a therapist, she spent many years as a children’s pastor, walking alongside families during tender, formative seasons. Those experiences gave her a deep appreciation for how early relationships shape a child’s sense of safety, identity, and belonging and taught her the quiet “power of showing up.” This insight continues to guide her work today, helping children and families of all backgrounds feel seen, supported, and empowered to grow together.

Her approach is integrative and relational. She blends interpersonal neurobiology (IPNB), somatic awareness, mindfulness, play therapy, parts work (TIST), and EMDR, tailoring each approach to the unique needs of the child and family. At the heart of her work is co-regulation, the calming presence of another person that helps clients feel safe, settle their nervous system, and build resilience.

She earned her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy, specializing in trauma, from Pacific Oaks College, and holds a B.A. in Anthropology from UCLA, as well as an M.A. and Ph.D. in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary.

When she’s not in session, she enjoys listening to her son play piano, admiring her daughter’s artwork, sharing laughter and adventures with her husband and friends, exploring cozy coffee shops, and getting lost in a good book.
