Juliana Haigh, MA, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist with a passion for working with children and adolescents. She uses her intellect, humor, compassion, and sense of play to help clients and their families to develop insight, empathy, and skills, to meet their individual goals. She believes that as humans we are wired for connection. We all long to experience “The Four S’s,” to feel safe, seen, soothed, and secure.

Juliana approaches therapy as an opportunity to support families in developing strong and compassionate relationships. Utilizing play therapy and interpersonal neurobiology, Juliana brings joy and compassion to the healing process. She practices a collaborative approach with parents/caregivers, schools, and the interdisciplinary team, and views clients as holistic, complete individuals.

Juliana is trained in Child-Centered Play Therapy, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Trauma Informed Care. Juliana specializes in working with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, school and social challenges.

Juliana earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology where she focused on Marriage and Family Therapy. Pulling on her background as a theater professional, Juliana understands that play, cooperative work, and flexibility are key in promoting healthy humans. She has honed her skills working as a school-based therapist at Aveson Charter Schools and then in community mental health at Enki Health Services and Hillsides. Throughout her career she has been privileged to work with diverse clients and families of varying cultures, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds. She strives to provide a safe, inclusive space that recognizes each client and family as unique with individual needs.

During her down time, Juliana is a voracious reader, enjoys binge watching her favorite tv shows, and spending time with her husband and teenage daughter.
